Awsome fair trade urban backback

When I first read the description of this bag it left me with a good bunch of questions. Not just the fact that the bag is made up by discarded truck-tires but also that it is supposed to be fair trade and on top of all this created using good design. But the images got me really hooked and I must say that this is one of the best looking backpacks in a long time. Good design together with fair trade. Wonderful!

Radio by motion

In a world where everything need a touchscreen and finger swipes is the natural way of doing just everything comes a great conceptual product named R1. I CAME ACROSS this set of photos taken in the early parts of the twentieths century. They’re photos of ongoing construction work and the sheer complexity and logistics of the engineering is amazing.
FROM A PURE PHOTOGRAPHY point of view I just love the colorrange and lightning of the images. Many amateur photographers today just enable a sephia filter on top of their images (me included) without thinking really. By looking at photos as these shots from NY one can actually have something to strive after.

I found a collection of the strangest and in some ways creepiest vintage ads I have ever seen and I felt that I had to share these. Just as most commercial ads from the fifties these they to push that genuine family-feeling but in these cases it goes horribly wrong.
The images was first located at www.weirdomatic.com but the post had to be moved to Blogspot to handle the load of being digged, so for the sake of this I give you the link to Blogspot.
Enjoy!
